Working late I had a stop just outside the stadium of the football club Sparta. Their stadium is nicknamed “Het Kasteel” (‘The Castle’)! you can see for yourself why that is the case 
Founded in 1888, Sparta is the oldest professional football club in the Netherlands. Since 1916, the club has had its stadium in Rotterdam’s Spangen district.
