Using the tram or lightrail in Rotterdam has its advantages. You don’t have to look for a parking space, it is relatively cheap and the stops are almost everywhere. But now and then work is needed because of wear and tear at the rails. I took this shot near Rotterdam Centraal, the hub for public transport in Rotterdam. Work is in progress and the deadline is near, october the 20th. So in a few days we can enjoy fresh rails for the coming years. I keep track of the work and show you a shot of the result!

  1. Very interesting. Our light rail got canceled and an BRT system proposed as the answer. Then half the BRT was canceled. London, ON, is so very backward when it comes to rapid transit of any kind. I’ll be watching your posts for more pictures and info. Cheers!
